Formula 1 Competition

We are so proud of our Formula 1 teams who entered the national Formula 1 competition at Swansea Waterfront Museum on 8th June – they did amazingly well!!   We entered two teams – The Betws Eagles and The Pro Racers and they did us all proud.  The children have been working on the project to build and race their own car since January.  They had to design and build their car using a computer package […]

Year 5 Transition

Wow! What a day the Year 5 children had yesterday! They thoroughly enjoyed the lessons, particularly the Design and Technology and Science lesson where they were burning different foods! They have all said they absolutely loved the day and can’t wait to go to CCYD in September 2017! Miss Crouch

Year 6 Leavers Assembly

The School Choir Roald Dahl Celebration

The school choir had an amazing time on Monday at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. The choir attended the Land of Song event which featured English and Welsh songs from various Roald Dahl productions. Over 1,500 children from all over Wales attended the special event and the conductor was none other than Tim Rhys-Evans from Only Boys Aloud. It was a fantastic day and we hope to attend similar events in the future. Bendigedig!

Year 6 Leavers Assembly

Hello, All year 6 children have now been given scripts with their parts highlighted. Please help your child to practice their lines at home, we will be having weekly practices in the build up to the last day of the summer term. Many thanks for your continuing support. Miss Crouch

Willow’s Germinating Allotment!

Willow class have been extremely busy getting green fingers! Over the past week the children have measured out an area for their own group allotments. After measuring, the children then began to dig, it was a lot harder than we first thought, the ground was solid, not to mention the fear of worms Liberty experienced!! However, the children persevered and eventually they dug out their patches of land. Hello, The Eco committee have been working extremely hard over the last couple of weeks to complete parts of our Action Plan! Recently, we have built planters with the help of Mr. Owen and planted flowers in them.
