The Betws Bingo Bango Drumming Club

After a Betws style “Britian’s Got Talent” audition, pupils at the school aged from Year 3 to Year 6 all had the chance to try African Drumming.

The school’s hearing impaired unit was the birth of this project. The children helped with teaching the other children in the school and they now have a overview of how, through the drum, a community spirit can be formed and through better understanding comes better intergration.

Al Skinner, who has drummed for over five years, has led the children to gain important skills. We continue to reach out to the children of Betws Primary school and provide them with the confidence and the musical knowledge, to help them understand through fun and good teaching practice.
