COMMUNITIES FIRST

Communities First is a Welsh Assembly Government Programme which looks at ways in which Betws can be improved. It has been in Betws for almost 8 years,

and has a team dedicated to the area who are based in an office upstairs in Betws LIFE Centre

 

There is a Communities First Partnership made up of local residents, local groups and service providers. They meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues

 that are important to Betws and take an active role in shaping the future of the community.

 

ANYONE who has a view on improving Betws is welcome and it is at these meetings that decisions on how the Communities First team operate are made. I f you are interested in coming along then please give us a ring on the num
