Oak Class Goes Electric!

Oak class are currently learning all about electricity and have been building a variety of different circuits. It has been a lot of fun and the class have learnt the importance of keeping a closed circuit in order to maintain an electric current. This week, we have begun our investigation into electrical conductors and insulators and we have been testing various objects and materials from within the classroom. We all thought that the attendance trophy would be a good conductor of electricity. However, we were astounded when we discovered that it is actually an insulator. The class is now busy investigating why this may be!
